Who Does This Program Help?
A Customs Administration will utilize both random and targeted verification reviews (audits) to determine if you are compliant with the regulations, they are accountable to enforce. These verification reviews focus on three key areas of your customs operation.
These are:
- The H.S. Classifications, and subsequent duty rates used for your importations
- The Country of Origin declarations you have made on behalf of the products you imported
- The Valuation of the goods, you declared to the Customs Administration

How Does This Program Work?
Not to worry, regardless which stage of the Verification Review process you are at, this program is designed to provide you with immediate support.
Trade Verification Notice Stage
- If you have recently been advised that a verification review will be starting shortly, our team will walk you through the government's verification review process, and explain what to expect
- Based on how you wish to proceed, you can either designate our team to manage the verification process with the government on your behalf, or simply keep us in the background supporting your team, as required throughout the verification review - the choice is yours
Active Verification Review Stage
- If you are in the middle of a verification review and not pleased with the progression of the review, and/or uncomfortable with the interaction between Customs and your team, our team can provide you with support to ensure Customs is not overreaching, or taking liberties during their verification review
Interim Report Stage
- At this stage, the preliminary results of the verification review have been documented, and you are provided an opportunity to respond
- Our team will analyze the interim report, and review with you the options available based on the government’s findings
Final Report & Appeal Stage
- If you have received a final report and not happy with the results, and wish to potentially appeal its conclusions and directions, our team can analyze your report and review the options available to you
