How Does the Program Work?
The Customs Compliance Benchmarking Program is designed to have a minimal impact on your day-to-day operations.
Based on your business model, we have developed over thirty different questionnaires related to importing and exporting that will be used to collect your primary importing/exporting information. Following the questionnaires, our team will conduct stakeholder interviews to capture any additional relevant information.
This information is then analyzed to identify potential customs compliance related gaps & areas of improvement. A Risk Scoring Matrix is applied to all identified gaps/areas of improvement, and ranked into one of three categories:
- High Risk: To be addressed within 12 months
- Moderate Risk: To be addressed within 13–24 months
- Low Risk: To be addressed post-24 months
A comprehensive final report is produced, documenting all information collected, gaps/areas of improvements identified, and a strategy to mitigate all High-Risk observations identified.
